The organizers had a strict prohibition against throwing candy but these guys didn't get the memo. Neither did anyone else as practically every float was tossing Tootsie Rolls (one of the basic food groups) and bubble-gum.
I love it! I'm an old Eagle Scout and damn proud of it and it's good to see a part of the country that still values that.
