Junkyard Art Redefined

We've all seen pieces of "art" constructed from bits and pieces of industrial/automotive junk and each has its own attraction. It's seldom, however, that I've seen that concept executed in a way that takes what is usually a "junky" presentation and applies a form of sophistication to it. This stuff is really well done. Lots of thought and craftsmanship. James Corbett, a 46 year-old Australian artist's work really IS art. He says the average piece takes two weeks with the bigger ones taking much longer. I'm not alone in thinking his work has some worth to it because he's sold pieces for as much as $23,000. Not bad for old car parts!
